A major update to Call of Duty's battle royale game is on the way; Warzone will be integrated into this year's Call of Duty, Vanguard, later this year. Call of Duty Cold War and Call of Duty Warzone were combined shortly after Cold War's release, and Season 1 for both games began in December 2020.

With the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard set for November, it appears that this year will be similar. We've already had a chance to play the Vanguard open beta, and we've compiled a list of all the Call of Duty Vanguard weapons we've seen so far - each of which can have up to 10 attachments – so start thinking about your loadout now.

Warzone is presently in Season 5, and players can use both Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons. Season 3 saw a huge update to the Warzone map, which was given an '80s makeover complete with action movie heroes John McClane and Rambo. With the incorporation of Vanguard, there will be even more modifications to Warzone in November, including a new map, weapons, and anti-cheat system.

RELEASE DATE FOR CALL OF DUTY WARZONE SEASON 1

On December 2, Warzone will revert to Season 1. 'Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific' is the new title for Warzone, though it can also be abbreviated to just 'Warzone Pacific.' Fans had hoped that Warzone would be updated at the same time as Vanguard, however, Season 1 for both Cold War multiplayer and Warzone didn't arrive until December 16th (Call of Duty Cold War released November 13, 2020).

Only Vanguard weaponry can be utilized in Vanguard Royale and Vanguard Plunder modes, according to the most recent blog article unveiling the map. "This limit simplifies the meta, allowing new players to get in without having to deal with totally maxed-out loadouts straight away." It also allows for more experimenting with these new weapons, allowing the community's most dedicated meta prophets a location to focus on the future in order to create a winning loadout." This solely modifies the weaponry; previously unlocked operators will retain their content following the Vanguard integration.

Those that leveled up their weaponry before Vanguard will be able to use them in the conventional battle royale and Plunder modes, as well as the return of Rebirth Island.

We can expect the vast majority of Vanguard weaponry to make their way into Warzone Pacific, and some of them may even make it onto our list of the finest Warzone guns. Last year, around 30 guns arrived at the start of Season 1 of Warzone and Cold War. The devs affirm in a Call of Duty blog post that the connectivity between load-outs and profiles will be smooth.
