Cyberpunk 2077 updates roadmap changes content releases to 2022

The Cyberpunk 2077 update plan has been updated by CD Projekt RED, and the majority of the content releases are now scheduled for next year. The updated roadmap has been revised for the third time, which implies that the controversial game's forthcoming releases have been pushed back to 2022. The hotfix 1.04-1.06 patches, which were released prior to 2021, are now available. The patches that were issued recently, from patch 1.1 to the most recent 1.31, are between 2021 and 2022. Unfortunately, that's where it ends, thus the last patch released this year will be 1.31, which was released in September 2021.

This indicates that no new content for the game will be released until 2022. 2022, on the other hand, will have new upgrades, improvements, and free DLCs after that black hole of no content. Yes, there will be DLCs available for free. In addition, the free next-gen console update is now set for next year.

Following a terrible and unstable debut and post-launch, CDPR appears to be taking no chances. They'll go back to the drawing board to ensure that upcoming patches and new content are less buggy when they're released, hopefully.

On PC, PS4, and Xbox One, Cyberpunk 2077 is now available. It's also PS5 and Xbox Series X/S backward compatible. Next year, native next-gen version upgrades will be available.
