Fortnite will receive a new update later today, bringing it up to version 18.21, which will contain the next level of Fortnitemares. When Will The Fortnite Servers Restart?

UPDATE: The server outage caused by update v18.21 is now over, and the Fortnite servers are back up and running!

ORIGINAL STORY: As previously stated, today's update will result in a brief server outage in order to install v18.21 across all platforms. Servers will be pulled offline at 1 a.m. PT / 4 a.m. ET / 9 a.m. BST, according to the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, with matchmaking disabled 30 minutes prior.

Although no specific time was given for when the servers will be back online, downtime typically lasts between one and two hours. There's no way to know for sure, but because today's update is likely to be smaller than usual, the downtime could be brief.

Today's Fortnite update will kick off Fortnitemares, a fresh new Halloween event that will run through November 2nd.
