New Genshin Impact 2.2 weapons: Wavebreaker's Fin and Mouun's Moon

Part 2 of Genshin Impact version 2.2 will be launched in a few days, and miHoYo has made several statements today to keep gamers guessing. In the upcoming Epitome Invocation banner cycle, synchronized with Hu Tao's banner, two new weapons will be included, according to Genshin Impact. The remaining polearm and bow from the Watatsumi Series are mentioned. Genshin Impact notifies the ascension materials for each weapon ahead of time, in addition to stats and passive skills.

Wavebreaker's Fin and Mouun's Moon, two 4-star weapons, have had their data released and will be included in Genshin Impact.

1. Wavebreaker's Fin

Rarity: 4-Star

Base Attack at Level 90: 620

Secondary Stat: Attack

Secondary Base Attack at Level 90: 13.8%

Passive Skill: Watatsumi Wavewalker

The character holding this weapon's Elemental Burst damage (DMG) increases by 0.12 percent for every point of the entire party's maximum Energy capacity. With the passive skill, you can get a maximum of 40% Elemental Burst DMG.

Ascension Materials:

1. Mask of the Wicked Lieutenant, Mask of the Tiger's Bite, Mask of the One-Horned, Mask of the Kijin
2. Concealed Claw, Concealed Unguis, Concealed Talon
3. Old Handguard, Kageuchi Handguard, Famed Handguard

The mask weapon ascension ingredients are only available on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday in the Court of Flowing Sand. After defeating Rifthound on Tsurumi Island, the players will receive the Concealed Claw, Unguis, and Talon. The handguard drops can thereafter be found everywhere throughout Inazuma from Nobushi and Kairagi.

2. Mouun's Moon

Rarity: 4-Star

Base Attack at Level 90: 565

Secondary Stat: Attack

Secondary Base Attack at Level 90: 27.6%

Passive Skill: Watatsumi Wavewalker

Wavebreaker's Fin is from the same series as Mooun's Moon. Both weapons have the same passive skill, allowing the wielders to gain a maximum of 40% Elemental Burst.

Ascension Materials:

1. Narukami's Wisdom, Narukami's Joy, Narukami's Affection, Narukami's Valor
2. Dismal Prism, Crystal Prism, Polarizing Prism
3. Spectral Husk, Spectral Heart, Spectral Nucleus

On Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, Narukami's Wisdom and other items can be gained from the Court of Flowing Sand on the north side of Narukami Island. The prisms and spectral droplets can then be obtained from Mirror Maiden and Specter, respectively.

In Genshin Impact, the new 4-star weapons feature Attack as their secondary attack and Elemental Burst as their passive talent. These two facts demonstrate that the polearm and bow were designed for supporting characters rather than as the primary damage dealer.
