Animal Crossing: New Horizons- Happy Home Paradise remodel and more updated via patch 2.0.1

Last week, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update was released, and it received a lot of positive feedback. Almost all of the game's major issues and omissions were fixed, giving players what they wanted and more. The DLC was also a big smash, with people all around the world praising it for everything it added to the game.

It wasn't a great update, but then again, no update is ever perfect. Like all previous Animal Crossing updates, this one had issues and glitches. A number of the more significant ones had to do with home remodeling and school facility functions. These and other issues have been resolved thanks to patch 2.0.1.

Animal Crossing patch 2.01 is now available, addressing issues such as Happy Home Paradise and more

This update addressed a few issues, but it didn't introduce anything that was breaking the game or causing substantial problems for players. When contacting Resident Services and requesting to rebuild a villager's home, players reported a few gameplay problems. It was a disappointing bug because this was one of the best and most used aspects of the 2.0 version. Nintendo advised gamers against remodeling their homes at that time because it was generating so many problems.

Thankfully, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0.1 patch was immediately published, and the difficulties appear to have been resolved for the time being. The school was the first facility that DLC owners needed to create, however, a bug allowed them to play without having done so. Nintendo had to update this in order for the Animal Crossing DLC to work properly.

Other issues that were fixed include:

  • Making the Kiki and Lala wand available again
  • Fixed an issue involving the coconut juice and frozen treat set items
  • Fixed the issue of the flowing river flooring not appearing properly in Photopia
  • Resolved the issue of villagers trying to cook with the incorrect items
  • Fixed a dialog issue where villagers at home would talk as if they were in the cafe
These and other issues should no longer be a problem for Animal Crossing gamers. If it hasn't already been installed, the 2.0.1 update is now available for download.
