Classic remastered maps from Battlefield 1942, Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3 are present in Battlefield 2042, however, they are not included in the main multiplayer mode. These modes can only be accessed through Battlefield Portal, a new side experience that is one of the game's main selling points. It allows players to make unique games using assets from Battlefield 2042 and other Battlefield games, but it also allows them to play classic game types and maps without making any changes. How to Play Classic Maps in Battlefield 2042

Battlefield Portal, a special game mode within Battlefield 2042, allows you to play classic Battlefield maps. The portal can be found in the main menu. It's next to All-Out Warfare and Hazard Zone on the right. The classic games should appear on the featured screen after you pick Portal.

There are just six classic maps accessible for now. Two are from the year 1942, two from Bad Company 2, and two from Battlefield 3. Here are the six remastered maps that are currently available in Battlefield 2042:

Conquest is currently only available on 1942 and Battlefield 3 maps. The Bad Company 2 maps are only available in Rush mode. You can choose any game you want to play from the featured playlists, but you can also browse community experiences if you want to locate a custom server with a different ruleset.

Players can personalize their Battlefield Portal experience to their satisfaction, so if you don't like the main options produced by DICE and official developers, you can locate a custom community server. Some servers, for example, have the Bad Company 2 arsenal available on 2042 maps, while others may face a team with 1942 weaponry against a team with Battlefield 3 weapons.
