The MVP selection screen in Call of Duty: Vanguard has a new glitch that gives attack dogs all of the focus – from the back view. Players are now sharing the strange malfunction around the internet after being compelled to view it. There are several terms for what Vanguard players are going through right now. There's a lot of dog butt going on, whether you name it doggy derrieres, puppy poopers, or hound hineys.

This isn't a snide reference to the game's hacker problem or the game's annoying lack of competitive elements. No, there is a problem that causes players to see an MVP screen completely filled with man's best friend's rear end. So, without further ado, you can finally see for yourself what all the fuss is about. Following a casual game on Shipment, Reddit user 'Mayergaming' discovered the following on the MVP screen.

Call of Duty Vanguard’s MVP bug is all dog butt

Things started out normally, as you can see in the video. However, after a routine game, the sound of barks began, and Mayer was soon confronted with the behinds of three ferocious beasts.

Each MVP nominee was introduced against a background of woofs, and instead of the customary Operator intros, Mayer was placed where the sun doesn't shine. Unsurprisingly, the clip is already all over the internet, implying that this isn't an intended new feature.

The MVP dog butts from Vanguard have gone viral

That's all there is to it. Many people are already using this bug as a metaphor for the game's issues (which include frustrations over the MVP and POTG screens). Others are merely amused and inquiring, "What is the dog up to?"

Nobody knows what led the dogs to take over the spotlight in this way, but it's one of the strangest bugs we've ever seen. It's most likely a result of someone calling in their Attack Dogs killstreak at the end of a game.

Sledgehammer Games, the developers of Vanguard, have yet to confirm whether this is intentional or a bug. Be cautious when casting your ballots until they do.
