Exploring the wide world of Forza Horizon 5 on wheels is a joy. Mexico's breathtaking scenery is fascinating. While racing and events are the mainstays of the campaign, the seemingly random side activities in the open world, such as breaking bonus boards, are an inextricable element of the Forza Horizon experience.

XP and rapid travel boards are the two types of bonus boards found across the game's map. Forza Horizon 5 players earn experience points toward their profile level by using XP boards, while fast travel boards reduce the cost of quick travel over time.

The massive area of Forza Horizon 5 is brimming with extra boards. Between shattering one board and another, players don't have to travel far.

XP boards map

There are 200 XP boards distributed throughout the Forza Horizon 5 map. Smashing these boards earns players experience points toward their in-game profile level, as the name implies. They gain wheelspin with each level, which can net them cars, credits, and more.

While most of them are easily accessible, a few of the XP boards are located on top of residences. It can be difficult to jump onto the roofs of those houses.

Fast travel boards map

There are 50 quick travel boards strewn across the Forza Horizon 5 map. By knocking them out, you can save 200 credits on fast transit. Quick travel costs a substantial sum of 10,000 Credits each time, even with all of the fast travel boards undisturbed. Smashing all of the fast travel boards essentially frees up fast travel, allowing players to navigate the massive map with ease.

Although players may go quickly to their own home right away in Forza Horizon 5, it takes some time to obtain the ability to travel quickly anywhere else.

After purchasing the Buenas Vistas mansion on the western coastline, the ability to fast travel to any road anywhere on the map is enabled in Forza Horizon 5. After the first Street Racing mission in the primary campaign, Guanajuato, this mansion becomes available for purchase.
