Shenhe will not be using a catalyst, according to this latest post from trusted source Ubatcha. Some players will be disappointed because the game still lacks a Cryo catalyst wielding, and Shenhe could have been the first. Shenhe can still use one of the four remaining weapon types now that the catalyst has been removed.

Shenhe is expected to use a polearm, which is the only other weapon not currently used by a Cryo five-star fighter. Shenhe was first revealed as a Claymore user, however, Eula was added to the game before Shenhe's release, and things could have altered since then.

Shenhe and Yunjin are set to appear in the Genshin Impact 2.4 update, according to the current leaked character order, which means gamers will likely get more specific details shortly. Because both of these personalities are linked to Liyue, a return to the region is a distinct possibility.
