Genshin Impact 2.4 update: Yun Jin and Shenhe's release dates

Genshin Impact gamers may look forward to two new characters in version 2.4, thanks to a few official announcements. Genshin Impact recently sent out a series of tweets showcasing Yun Jin and Shenhe's official designs. In the past, Genshin Impact has done something similar with Itto and Gorou before formally announcing them for version 2.3. As a result, Yun Jin and Shenhe are expected to be playable characters in version 2.4.

Yun Jin and Shenhe's Genshin Impact 2.4 release dates

According to Genshin Impact's six-week update schedule, version 2.4 will be released on January 5. As a result, Yun Jin and Shenhe will most likely be released on January 5 or 26.

Because of the time difference, gamers in the United States should expect these characters to be published on January 4 or January 25. In most other areas, however, January 5 or January 26 will be accurate.

Yun Jin in version 2.4

Yun Jin has been confirmed as a Geo polearm character with the constellation "Opera Grandis" in recent tweets. Many people believe Yun Jin will be a 4-star character, although her rarity has yet to be confirmed.

Many players were already familiar with Yun Jin before Genshin Impact's recent statements. Yun Jin has been mentioned multiple times in the game, despite the fact that she has only appeared in a small cutscene.

Yun Jin is well-known in her home country of Liyue as a brilliant opera singer with a significant fan base. Yun Jin is now known as the Director of Yun-Han Opera Troupe as a result of the announcements.

Shenhe in version 2.4

Shenhe will be launched as a Cryo polearm character with the "Crista Doloris" constellation in Genshin Impact. Because this character is likely to be a 5-star unit, players may need to store up their Primogems in order to call her.

The character was identified as a descendant of exorcists in Genshin Impact's official Shenhe revelation. Furthermore, the Adepti known as Cloud Retainer took Shenhe in and mentored her for unexplained reasons.

Shenhe sees Cloud Retainer as a "knowledgeable and chatty master," while Cloud Retainer sees Shenhe as her image. Players who want to summon Yun Jin or Shenhe in Genshin Impact still have more than a month to preserve their Primogems. Polearm characters will be the focus in January 2022, but for now, players can enjoy summoning the Geo characters in version 2.3.
