Genshin Impact: How to craft and use Wind Catcher
Wind Catcher is a useful tool for Genshin Impact players who otherwise wouldn't be able to reach Oculi without owning certain characters. It works by creating a wind current beneath the player. It can be used for a variety of purposes, many of which are related to exploration. It's important to note that while this Gadget never expires, it does have a charging method. The Wind Catcher Diagram can be obtained by Genshin Impact players who have reached Reputation Level 3 in Mondstadt. They must then forge the item in order to use it.
Here's how to craft and use Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact
Players must first collect the Wind Catcher's Diagram in order to create and use it. They must achieve Reputation Level 3 in Mondstadt to do so. When a player reaches Adventure Rank 25, the Reputation System is unlocked.
Travelers must also have completed "The Outlander Who Caught the Wind" and "Knight of the Realm" before proceeding to Mondstadt. There are a total of eight Reputation Levels, and the player only needs to reach the third to obtain the Diagram. Bounties, World Exploration, Requests, and Mondstadt Quests all add to a player's Mondstadt Reputation Level. Bounties and Requests are updated once a week, whereas the other two are not.
Hertha, an NPC, is in charge of Mondstadt's reputation system. She can be found north of Mondstadt's eastern Teleport Waypoint. The Diagram: Wind Catcher can be obtained simply by concentrating on Exploration and Mondstadt Quests.
Crafting requirements for Wind Catcher
Players will need the following items to make the Wind Catcher in Genshin Impact:
- 10 Hurricane Seeds
- 30 Windwheel Asters
- 50 Crystal Chunks
- 50,000 Mora
It takes 30 seconds to forge, and gamers may do it practically anywhere. The Wind Catcher is a never-ending Gadget that can be used at any time (provided they have charged).
Hurricane Seeds are dropped by Anemo Hypostases, whereas Windwheel Asters can be found across the Mondstadt region (or grown in the Serenitea Pot). Crystal Chunks can be obtained through expeditions, but they can also be discovered in the wild throughout Teyvat (like with the above interactive map).
How to use Wind Catcher
Wind Catcher can be recharged up to five times by Genshin Impact players. They must walk over an Anemograna to add charges (the little wind spirits that come in sets of three for creating a wind current). Players can only stack up to five charges at a time, therefore they can't stack any more after that.
Players can use it just like any other Gadget, which means they must first equip it from their inventory. When they press the Gadgets button, a wind current will appear around them, which they can employ like any other wind current in Genshin Impact.
The wind currents of this Wind Catcher will persist for nine seconds before cooling down for 100 seconds. When a player is engaged in combat, they are unable to use it. Naturally, the major goal of this Gadget is to make it easier for players to explore Teyvat, especially if they don't have access to characters like Venti.
