Genshin Impact Husk of Opulent Dreams: Best Characters, Stats, and How to Obtain

Mihoyo has launched Genshin Impact version 2.3, which offers a boatload of new material and features, including new storey quests, events, monsters, and more. It also introduced a new set of artefacts to gather, as well as a challenge domain. Aside from the "Ocean-Hued Clam" artefact set, which strengthens healing characters, another set dubbed "Husk of Opulent Dreams" was introduced, which equips Geo characters with increased defence and damage. While the advantages of this set are ideal for some Geo characters, other Geo characters will not profit as much from it, as discussed in this tutorial.

How to Get Artifacts from the Husk of Opulent Dreams

Players will have to travel to the Inazuma region to farm for this new artefact set. Players must travel to Seirai Island to visit the "Slumbering Court" domain, just like they did with the Ocean-Hued Clams relics. Players will only need to reach the doors to open this domain because there are no additional prerequisite missions to accomplish. Players will have to fight multiple Thundercraven Wolfhounds and Mitachurls once inside. This domain necessitates the usage of strong electro and hydro characters, as the electro element gains a 40% damage boost, and combining it with hydro reactions results in a chain lighting effect, allowing players to clear the domain quickly.

Husk of Opulent Dreams Set Bonuses

Players will be able to give their Geo characters greater defence and attack power with this new artefact set, as the two-piece set will award the character +30 DEF. In terms of the four-piece set, any character wearing it will acquire the "Curiosity" effect, which means that whenever their character hits an opponent with a Geo attack, they will gain one stack. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3 seconds. Every three seconds when their character is off the field, they gain one stack. Curiosity can be stacked up to four times for a total of 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. One stack is lost every six seconds without gaining a Curiosity stack.

To maximise their defence and damage potential, Geo characters employing this set will need to perform attacks with Geo damage as much as possible, which may cause some conflicts for specific geo characters.

Best Characters for Husk of Opulent Dreams Artifacts

While this artefact combination appears to be beneficial to all Geo characters, it currently only benefits Albedo and Noelle. This is because, unlike many other Geo characters, these two characters' attacks, elemental talents, and elemental bursts scale with their DEF stat. For example, Albedo's elemental skill "Solar Isotoma" creates a Geo AOE field on the ground that does geo damage every two seconds to any enemies within it. This talent scales with Albedo's DEF stat, which matches this new artefact set wonderfully.

Noelle, on the other hand, is a far more unusual scenario, as this combo necessitates upgrading Noelle's constellation bonus to C6. This is because Noelle converts all of her physical damage into Geo damage, which grows according to her DEF stat when she triggers her elemental burst "Sweeping Time." When playing with Noelle at C6, she obtains an extra 50% of her DEF stat, which increases her attack power. With all of this in mind, Noelle requires as much DEF as possible to power up, something that this new artefact set can help with. However, there are considerably better artefact sets to consider if players do not own a Noelle at C6.

Albedo

It's easy to create this character to operate with this artefact set: Albedo's protection and damage output can be greatly improved by farming for a DEF per cent main stat for Sands and Circlet, as well as a Geo Damage Bonus for Goblet. As for Albedo's weapon of choice, the new "Cinnabar Spindle" sword from the "Shadows Amidst Snowstorms" event will be ideal for him, as the secondary stat on this sword will boost his DEF to 69 per cent (Nice. ), as well as enhancing his elemental skill damage by 40% of his total DEF.

Because this event weapon is only available for a limited time, additional weapon options may include the "Harbinger Of Dawn." While it may be tempting to stack DEF per cent on every artefact, doing so will result in diminishing results, therefore players should instead focus on improving Crit Rate or Crit Damage. As for her weapons, "Serpent Spine" is an excellent pick, as the increased Crit Rate, as well as the passive ability to augment her damage while on the field, will complement the new artefact set. The "Whiteblind" sword, on the other hand, is a fantastic alternative for those who require a bit more DEF per cent, since it can raise DEF per cent up to 51.7 per cent, as well as enhance ATK and DEF by 6% for 6s every time she hits an enemy.
