Genshin Impact Version 2.3 Launches Later This Month

MiHoYo just revealed the latest features for Genshin Impact version 2.3, including new banners, mechanics, and characters, among other things. On November 24, 2021, version 2.3 "Shadows Amidst Snowstorms" will be released. Players' exploring skills will be put to the test when they return to Dragonspine to face a variety of challenges. Investigating the odd mass disappearance of small creatures in Inazuma will be another adventure they will confront, as will the two new playable characters Arataki Itto and Gorou.

This future update will introduce a number of new events, each with its own set of rewards and compelling storylines. "Shadows Amidst Snowstorms," the primary season event, will once again attract adventurers to Dragonspine. The Sheer Cold effect will be applied to players as they join Albedo, Eula, and other old pals. To obtain abundant goodies like the new 4-star Sword Cinnabar Spindle and build their own Puffy Snowmen, they must accomplish agility, tracking, and combat training challenges.

Another event will take happening in Inazuma, where players will be teamed with a mystery Warrior Dog to investigate the disappearances of small creatures in large numbers. They'll have to find a particular Gadget that can duplicate the forms of some creatures in the Serenitea Pot and save the missing critters.

In the following update, more playable characters will be included. At the same time, Eula and Albedo will have their own Wish Events, which will be followed by another Wish Event featuring the two new playable characters Arataki Itto and Gorou. Itto is an Oni with Oni blood in his veins who wields a massive Claymore and the power of Geo. With his unique Superlative Superstrength, he can slash powerful Charged Attacks and transform into the Raging Oni King. This increases his attack power while diminishing his physical and elemental resistance. Gorou is armed with a bow and utilizes a Geo Vision. He is a Watasumi Island general who can buff characters on the field if there are more Geo characters in the group.

Tsurumi Island now features a new boss in the form of the Golden Wolflord. It is more dangerous than his Rifthounds and Rifthound Whelps subordinates. It also has the power to apply the Corrosion condition, which reduces all party members' HP. It may call Rifthound Skulls to protect itself, and he can enhance its Attack at the cost of diminishing its Resistance to Geo assaults later on.

Genshin Impact is currently available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Android, and iOS platforms. On November 24, 2021, Version 2.3 will be released.
