Genshin Impact standard banner and weapons banner pity explained

Many players farm Primogems in the hopes of summoning new characters and weapons, and Gacha is a big part of Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact offers three gacha banners that players can choose from on a regular basis. The usual banner is in place all the time and is rarely changed. The featured 5-star and 4-star drops on the two event banners, on the other hand, are frequently rotated.

The standard banner and weapons banner both have a "pity" mechanic that guarantees uncommon summons, and this page describes how it works.

How pity works on Genshin Impact's standard banner

Pity is the number of wishes spent on a banner since players' previous 5-star summon in Genshin Impact. By the time their pity hits 90, gamers are assured a 5-star on the standard banner. Although a player's pity may reach 90 by the time he or she receives a 5-star, this is an extremely rare and tragic occurrence. Fortunately, a hidden element known as "soft sympathy" dramatically increases the 5-star summon rates to roughly 75 wishes.

Players have a 50% chance of summoning a weapon and a 50% chance of summoning a character when they create a 5-star summon. For their 5-star, gamers can now choose from one of the following characters or weapons:

Pity can also be searched for summons with a 4-star rating. Within 10 wishes of their last 4-star, gamers always get a 4-star or better on any banner. Again, the likelihood of acquiring a 4-star character or weapon is 50/50.

Genshin Impact has made it a practice to include all of the 4-star characters in the standard banner thus far. This may not be true for a 4-star's debut banner, but they are all eventually incorporated to the standard banner. The normal flag, on the other hand, is missing some 4-star weaponry. Pity in Genshin Impact's weapons banner

The weapons banner for Genshin Impact is noticeably different from the other two banners. In contrast to the character and standard banner, gamers will receive a 5-star weapon when their pity reaches 80, not 90. On the weapons banner, players can also engage soft pity early. On the weapons banner, gentle pity begins at 65 instead of the 75th desire.

Pity on the weapons banner, like the character banner, carries over when it rotates. When the featured weapons change, any 4-star and 5-star pity a player has on the weapons banner is preserved.

The weapons banner has always shown two 5-star weapons up until now. Gamers have a 75% chance of getting one of the two promoted weapons on their 5-star to summon at first. If they obtain a different weapon, one of the featured weapons will be their next 5-star. Each 5-star weapon that has been promoted has an equal probability of dropping.

A mechanic named "Epitomized Path" is also shown on the weapons banner. Players can choose between the two featured 5-star weapons in this section. They gain one Fate Point for every 5-star weapon they pull that isn't their preferred option. Obtaining two Fate Points ensures that the next 5-star weapon will be their preferred weapon.

A player's Fate Points are reset when they change or summon their chosen weapon in Epitomized Path. When the weapons banner rotates, any progress in the Epitomized Path is reset, unlike pity.
