How to unlock the new ABD in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser) is a feature that most Animal Crossing gamers are familiar with. It works like an ATM, allowing users to save and withdraw their bells. It's usually found in the Nook Stop terminal's Resident Services office. It was a useful tool, but getting to Resident Services was a pain. Fortunately, according to the Animal Crossing 2.0 update, that's all changing. The game was altered significantly as a result of the update. The ABD can now be taken with you. Here's how to get it unlocked.

Getting the portable ABD in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Unfortunately for Animal Crossing fans, the new portable ADB is not available for purchase. There are a few requirements that must be met initially. Players must renovate their homes to the highest quality possible. However, this can be an expensive venture.

The second requirement is that players be debt-free. Tom Nook is pleased to give out loans, but there will be no portable ABD if they are not paid back. This can be pricey, especially since many Animal Crossing players have a large number of loans in the game (there are no real consequences to these loans).

Once those conditions are met, Tom Nook will send you a letter. This will inform gamers that they are qualified to purchase a portable ABD. They can then return to Resident Services and access the terminal once more. Players can buy a portable ABD for 9,900 Nook Miles (again, expensive).

Players can then utilize and even personalize their ABD gadget after that. To customize it, they'll need to gain access to Reese and Cyrus' shop on Harv's Island (100,000 bells to unlock). The customization process, on the other hand, will cost 8,000 bells. This has the potential to change the device's hue.
