League of Legends patch 11.24 will be delayed by a week

Due to Thanksgiving, the release of League of Legends patch 11.24 will be delayed by one week. Rather than being released next week, the update will be released on December 8. After receiving patch 11.23 a week ago, patch 11.24 will be the first release for preseason 12. Riot Games uses the preseason to test a variety of modifications in order to reduce balance issues as much as possible before Season 12 officially launches in January.

While League of Legends patch 11.23 included two new elemental Drakes, new Runes, equipment, and in-game mechanics, it also introduced a slew of flaws and exploits that are currently game-breaking.

Players are anticipating a large number of fixes from Riot with patch 11.24, making it a major upgrade.

Will League of Legends patch 11.24 fix the “Nocturne-Axiom” exploit?

The "Nocturne-Axiom" combo is one of the most important exploits added to League of Legends preseason 12. Axiom Arc, a legendary item, has allowed Nocturne to activate his ultimate in just a few seconds after utilizing it. Playing against him after the 15-minute mark has become extremely difficult since there is little counter-play to what he brings to the table.

In 11.24, the "Nocturne-Axiom" combo will very certainly be nerfed. Some players, however, feel that this exploit will be fixed in today's micro-patch.

In a tweet, Riot Phlox stated that the micro-patch will be primarily focused on the new Objective Bounties. There's a chance, though, that Axiom Arc will be addressed as well.

Axiom Arc works well with a variety of other characters, not simply Nocturne. Its passive, which reduces the champions' ultimate cooldown, is very useful for selections like Talon, who have quickly risen through the Jungle tier list.

Talong, like Nocturne, is somewhat reliant on his ultimate. In League of Legends preseason 12, he becomes difficult to deal with after mid-game.
