Twitch is one of the most popular live-streaming systems on the internet. While content makers on the platform broadcast a wide range of content, it is best known for its various video game broadcasters, such as Ninja.

Following his success with Fortnite, Ninja has revolutionized video game broadcasting since beginning his gaming career as a professional Halo pro. He's become one of the most successful streamers in the industry over the previous few years. Despite his incredible successes, the Twitch star's recent viewership isn't as high as it previously was.

Ninja spoke openly about his loss in Twitch popularity in a recent interview with The Washington Post. He recognized that fresh names surface on a regular basis, attracting a crowd. Furthermore, Fortnite, the game that is intrinsically linked to his meteoric ascent to fame, is no longer as popular as it once was. This is due in part to increased competition in the battle royale genre in recent years, with titles like Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends gaining a large number of players.

Ninja confessed during the conversation that he is no longer Twitch's biggest name. In comparison to his previous live streaming, which regularly drew over 100,000 concurrent viewers, his current feeds have an average viewership of 10,000 to 15,000 people. While these are certainly acceptable figures for most, they represent a substantial dip from his previous highs a few years ago.

This drop-in popularity, however, does not appear to faze the streamer. Ninja claims he isn't concerned with the stats. While it's true that many streamers are now attracting more viewers, he's happy with where he's at right now. "No one can stay on top forever," he remarked, particularly when it comes to live-streaming. He added that the number of viewers on Twitch is always increasing, making it impossible to maintain a high level of popularity.

Surprisingly, it appears that he has no desire to reclaim his former level of popularity. "I'm not going to be that guy anymore," he declared. Because of his current life situation, he no longer desired that degree of popularity. He said that he no longer had the time to keep his popularity at that level. He explained, "I have a wife and a family."

Ninja remains a recognizable figure in the streaming industry, despite not having the same numbers on Twitch as he formerly did. In addition, he continues to gain new subscribers to his YouTube channel. Ninja recently surpassed the 17 million following mark on Twitch. This was a significant accomplishment for the content developer, as he was the first to achieve the goal. Following Ninja's words, it'll be intriguing to see what his plans are for the future. Despite not having the same viewership as before, he seemed content with his current position in the streaming world.
