Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: How to get Shiny Statues

Secret Base Statues are incredibly useful and can be found while excavating for fossils in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl's Grand Underground. You'll put these in your hidden base, and they'll increase your chances of seeing specific Pokémon types from the Statues you set up. There's also the possibility of obtaining Shiny Statues. In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, here's how you can earn Shiny Statues.

Shiny Statues are extremely tough to come by. This is due to the fact that they have a minimal likelihood of dropping while digging for fossils. However, locating the Digletts in the Grand Underground can improve your odds. When you run across a Diglett, or three times if it's a Dugtrio, you'll notice a meter beneath your Grand Underground map on the left side of your screen climbs up one by one. That's the reward for perhaps coming upon a Shiny Statue, which can be found inside Gorgeous Stone Boxes.

You'll want to press the R trigger on your Nintendo Switch when you achieve a high quantity of bonus, around 35 points. You'll want to do this adjacent to the fossil dig sites you locate since a small echo-like place will vibrate away from your character.
