Halo Infinite: How to Get the Samurai Armor

Although Halo Infinite features the greatest customization options of any Halo game to date, one piece of armor, in particular, is attracting the attention of many players: Yoroi, the Samurai Armor Core. We'll show you how to get your hands on the Samurai armor in Halo Infinite in this guide.

How to Get Samurai Armor in Halo Infinite

You must participate in the upcoming Fractures: Tenrai Event to obtain the samurai armor known as 'Yoroi' in Halo Infinite. This event will take place from November 23rd to November 30th, 2021, and will be open to all players on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

An 'Event Pass,' similar to the Battle Pass, will be available in Fracture: Tenrai, rewarding players with rare goodies for completing matches and fulfilling particular challenges. The Event Pass's exact contents are unknown at this time, although they are characterized as "Samurai-themed" and include armor parts, customization possibilities, and, of course, the Legendary Yoroi Armor Core.

Don't worry if you don't get the samurai armour before the event ends the first time; it will run numerous times throughout Season One, which ends in May 2022. You won't have to rush through the Event Pass because your progress will transfer over between events.

Season 1 will last until May 2022. Along the way #HaloInfinite will have multiple in-game events with their own rewards and activities!

Despite the fact that Halo Infinite multiplayer is still in beta, all progress, including unlocked equipment, will be carried over to the game's official release on December 8, 2021. Of course, the armour is also permanent and can be worn outside of the event.

What is an Armor Core?

Armor Cores serve as the foundation for your player character in Halo Infinite. Helmets, visors, chests, shoulders, wrists, and other armor pieces can be unique to each Armor Core. The Hikeshi helmet and Sabi visor are exclusive to the Yoroi Armor Core and cannot be used with anything else. Cosmetics for Armor Cores are solely related to their mode of acquisition, so don't worry about unlocking cosmetics for Armor Cores you don't own.

In Halo Infinite, there are presently three Armor Cores: Mark VII, the normal Armor Core; Mark V [B], which can be obtained with the Heroes of Reach Battle Pass and has Halo: Reach-inspired cosmetics; and Yoroi, which uses cosmetics from the Fractures: Tenrai Event. More Armor Cores are in the works, and 343 claims to be researching a mechanism to make some cosmetics function on multiple Cores, but this has yet to be seen.
