Fortnite Azuki skin resembles Beerus from Dragon Ball

Fortnite is getting a new skin that has drawn comparisons to the Dragon Ball character Beerus. Beerus, also known as the God of Destruction, first appeared in the Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods feature film in 2013. The character is based on an ancient Egyptian cat that was worshipped.

Fans have already noticed a connection between Beerus and the previously revealed Azuki skin in Fortnite. Azuki is a cat-like creature with a purple aesthetic that gives off Beerus feelings.

As part of the v19.01 update, the Azuki skin was added to Fortnite. Azuki has not yet been launched, despite the addition of several other skins that have already made their way into the Item Shop. The huge ears, eyes, and mouth all have cat-like traits, as can be seen. Fans have compared Azuki to the God of Destruction because of this. Fans are also speculating about a Dragon Ball crossover.

Epic Games and Fortnite aren't afraid to give fans crossovers, whether they beg for them or they come as a complete surprise. Take a look at the most current and hugely popular Naruto collaboration. A poll was put out a while back asking for collaborations that players would want to see. That included characters like Goku and the Dragon Ball series, making the addition of this skin even more enticing.

This may easily be a trial run to see how fans react to a cat who looks like this rather than a regular housecat like Meowscles. Is it possible that this is the start of a Beerus skin?

It's possible, given the amount of speculation and teases that keep Fortnite fans on their toes. There's no reason to doubt that Beerus will appear in a Dragon Ball crossover at some point. Fans will have to wait a little longer for Azuki to appear in the Item Shop. Once it works, people may play Fortnite with this anthropomorphic cat and pretend to be in command of the great Beerus.
