Fortnite Chapter 3: How to Discover the Device

Fortnite recently had a new event that effectively ended Chapter 2 as we know it and turned the game upside down. And now that Fortnite Chapter 3 is out for download, there is plenty of fresh material for fans to enjoy. This new content set introduces new Fortnite tasks that players must perform in order to acquire experience and rewards. Finding a mysterious artifact known as "The Device" is one of the numerous challenges. The Device is a black briefcase with a blue shimmering aura that is usually hidden inside buildings or outside. Finding one will earn you 25,000 XP.

On the new map, players can find the device at roughly 10 different spawn spots. Fortunately, the task may be completed by grabbing just one of them. So, if you're a Fortnite fan seeking to fulfill this assignment quickly, here are a few alternative locations where you can discover the device.

Coney Crossroads

One of the first locations where gamers can access information is on the internet. Near Coney Crossroads, near the enormous lake, is where the Device is located. A small outpost with circular doors will be present. Find the one on the western structure that is glowing red, and there should be a small bar and relaxing space inside. The device should be placed just in front of the doorway on the floor. Due to its location in the dead center of the map, though, this spot is more popular with foes and may be tough to reach without encountering another Fortnite player.

Sanctuary

Another way where fans might find information is The Device may be found near the big statues in the Sanctuary on the eastern side of the Fortnite map. Land near the towering standing statue with its arms folded at the bottom of the feet. The device will be to the right of a shrub, with a circular opening facing outwards from its feet. For gamers who want to finish this task quickly and get back into the game, this device might be a better option.

Chonker's Speedway

Finally, at the southern end of the map, in the desert near Chonker's Speedway, players might find the Device in a less populous position. There will be a second little outpost with a view of the ocean, and The Device will be housed within the outer structure. Inside the compound, there will be artificial foes, but if gamers wish to escape a confrontation, they can slip around the side and hack the wall.
