Fortnite Chapter 3 Winterfest 2021: How to use a holiday Presents item

Fortnite Chapter 3's Winterfest features some unique rewards for all players, thanks to the one and only Sgt. Winters, in addition to returning holiday-themed skins and weaponry. As you can see from the main menu, there is a new option for players to enter Winters' lodge, where they will find several wrapped gifts that have been left unopened. Of course, each of these may be ripped apart to reveal a priceless cosmetic hidden inside, but earning all of these Christmas treats will take time.

Sgt. Winters' Lodge lets you unwrap and equip only one item per day to get you ready for the newest chapter. You'll need to return at the start of each new day to open the next gift, as there are 14 in all. When you open a present, you have the option of equipping it straight away or storing it in your inventory for safekeeping (as shown below). Although we don't want to give too much away about the precise stuff you'll get, expect weapon and character skins, contrails, music, and even harvesting equipment.

Finally, a few of the gifts under Sgt. Winters' trees come with some additional conditions. For starters, the gift in the room's far-right corner has entirely frozen over; it will most likely thaw out near the end of the giving. There is also a golden box on the left side of the room that the game will have you save for last.

Players can also participate in Winterfest 2021's own set of quests and challenges from now until January 6, all of which reward you handsomely with a boatload of XP. In addition, Spider-Man: No Way Home cosmetics are now available in the Item Shop, marking one of the year's major movie releases.
