Forza Horizon 5: How to set up custom music

Forza Horizon 5 includes a diverse collection of music from musicians all over the world. There are many different songs to pick from during the Horizon Festival, but none of them may be to your liking. If that's the case, you can set custom music to play in the background. Here's how to get started.

Let's start with the bad news, shall we? Uploading a custom music soundtrack in Forza Horizon 5 is not an option unless you use mods. Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games have not included a feature in Forza Horizon 5 that allows players to upload their own music.

However, when Forza Horizon 5 is running, you can utilize an external app like Spotify, iHeartRadio, or TuneIn Radio on a platform that runs in the background. You'll need to switch off the radio in FH5 to do this.

Then, on your platform, install the app. Return to the home screen and select 'My Games and Apps' for Xbox One and Series X users. We'll get to that in a minute. PC users will need to follow a slightly different formula. Go into your applications, find the app you want, and continue from there. If you're going to use Spotify, make sure you choose your playlist first before entering FH5.

A variety of alternatives are available for PC. For starters, you can just access the music using an Internet browser or an app of your choosing. Then you'll want to play Forza Horizon 5. If you're using a PC that runs Windows 10 or 11, you may also bring up the Xbox Game Bar. To bring up the bar, press Win + G, and then head to the Widgets Store to look for external programs. If you're going to use Spotify, it should already be installed in the bar. All you have to do now is connect your existing Spotify account to the Xbox Game Bar widget to create a personalized soundtrack.
