Genshin Impact 2.4 leaks: New Oceanic Defender Boss Model Revealed

Fans were expecting a small content drought for at least a few updates after previous Genshin Impact updates introduced the legendary islands of Inazuma. However, it appears that developer miHoYo has no intentions to slow down, and fans can look forward to a completely new location called Enkanomiya as well as two new Genshin impact characters in the near future.

The long-awaited polearm users Yun Jin and Shenhe have been unveiled on the official Genshin Impact social media pages. Aside from the characters, the arrival of a new region is undoubtedly the most intriguing aspect for players.

New events, characters, and adversaries are frequently included in Genshin Impact updates. Even though the focus of each update is mainly on playable characters, adding new foes has proven to be just as entertaining, especially if they have a unique personality like the Azhdaha weekly boss. The model for a new boss enemy has supposedly been disclosed by a reliable Genshin Impact leaker, and it's a familiar face.

The Oceanic Defender, commonly known as Osial, has given one of the most epic boss battles to the game thus far. After Tartaglia breached the fabled seal, the Liyue group was able to defeat the monster. After being crushed by the Jade Chamber, there wasn't much information about Osial for a long time, and it appears that miHoYo has decided to bring the beast back. Enkanomiya, the new Genshin Impact zone, is most likely to include it.

There have been speculations about the strange place for days, and knowing that a leak has disclosed the map and teleport sites, fans may have more information about its type of access. According to a post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, the zone will function similarly to the limited Archipelago region that players were able to explore in update 1.6.

When it comes to the second portion of update 2.4, there is still no official word on what it will offer. However, multiple leaks have suggested that, like its predecessor, it would most likely have a second double banner re-run. According to speculations, the upcoming double banner will feature two popular Liyue characters, Ganyu and Xiao. Genshin Impact update 2.4 should appear around January 5, 2022, according to miHoYo's regular update timetable of providing new upgrades every six weeks.
