Genshin Impact 2.4 leaks: Windtrace event details
The Genshin Impact 2.4 update will bring back a number of popular former events, like Windtrace. The Windtrace event, which debuted in version 1.5, resembled a game of hide-and-seek in which participants were separated into Hunters and Rebels. During the Windtrace event in Mondstadt, the Genshin Impact community had a great time playing Hide & Seek. This explains why players are looking forward to patching 2.4's comeback.
Genshin Impact 2.4 Windtrace event to have new locations
The Hunters and Rebels were given random sites from Liyue and Mondstadt during the initial Windtrace event. Players will be able to play Hide and Seek in seven different places during the re-run event (two more than the original event), including several areas from the Inazuma region.
The locations from Inazuma are:
- Ritou Port
- Kujou Encampment
- Kamisato Estate
The terrace gardens in Qingce Village, Liyue, will be included in the Windtrace event once more. Wooden boxes, street lights, and deadwood will be used to hide each of the regions indicated above. It's safe to presume that in patch 2.4, more disguises will be added to the Windtrace event. Hunters will also be given extra talents to aid them in catching the Rebels.
How to play as Hunters and Rebels in Genshin Impact
The Windtrace event at Genshin Impact is more than just a game of hiding and seek since both Rebels and Hunters have multiple skills. Rebels can utilize their Windward Arts to disguise themselves as random items, bait, or hide for a short period of time.
Hunters, on the other hand, have the following abilities:
- Sensor Aura- notifies if there's a rebel nearby
- Mysterious Hunch- briefly shows the direction of rebels
- Capture- dispels the disguise of rebels and catches them
- Imprisoning Curse-randomly dispels the disguise of one Rebel and restrains them.
- Insight and Hunter's Institution
For both Hunters and Rebels, the key to victory is to use the aforementioned powers at the proper time. Windtrace is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable mini-games in Genshin Impact, and it would be fantastic if it were made permanent with version 2.4. With the re-run flags of Xiao and Ganyu, the Lantern Rite event is likely to reappear.
