Genshin Impact Enkanomiya: All new mechanisms explained

The release of Genshin Impact 2.4 is approaching, and players are excited about Enkanomiya. While people wait, the developer's announcement, "The Inazuma Diaries," gradually reveals teasers and greater details about the new territory. Gamers' excitement will only grow once they get their hands on all of the promised additional material.

The long-awaited Shenhe and Yun Jin for Genshin Impact 2.4 were revealed in the latest Genshin Impact teaser. Aside from the characters, Enkanomiya will include a slew of new features, including new regions to explore, new methods to play, and new riddles to solve.

New mechanisms in Genshin Impact's Enkanomiya

1) Of Sun and Moon

Enkanomiya is shielded from the sun. As a result, in this atmosphere, there is no distinction between day and night. Instead, Whitenight and Evernight have a temporal cycle that alternates. In Enkanomiya, changing between the two displays various looks of mechanics and settings.

Users can access a particular type of mechanism across Enkanomiya after completing specific objectives. The Dainichi Mikoshi is linked to these systems, which can be used to alter the day/night cycle. To trigger the mechanism and flip between Evernight and Whitenight, players must possess the Golden Brindle of Enkanomiya.

2) Daises of Day and Night

In the Whitenight and Evernight stages, the appearance of the Daises of Day and Night mechanism differs. Daises of Day and Daises of Night will be filled up during their respective 'day' and 'night' times. To control and activate the mechanisms, gamers must go close to them. However, their statuses will be reset when they switch between Evernight and Whitenight.

3) Triangular Mechanisms

At Enkanomiya, these triangular mechanisms may be viewed. They can be activated by attacks within a set range. Unfortunately, after a while, the mechanism will reset. If players switch to overnight after discovering a mechanism that is currently damaged, it will immediately heal itself.

4) Places of Essence Worship

Another new mechanism in Enkanomiya is Places of Essence Worship. The creator, however, did not specify what they are used for. It could be linked to Enkanomiya's Whitenight and Evernight states based on the various colors.

5) Key Sigils

When exploring Enkanomiya, travelers may come across things known as Key Sigils. There are five Key Sigils in total, as shown in the figure above. Like one key fit one lock, each of them can release the seal with a corresponding image. The mini-map will reveal where Key Sigils are located near players, and they can follow the marks to find them.

6) Ghostfish

Enkanomiya's ghostfish have a special talent. Users that glide through a school of Ghostfish will be surrounded by them, allowing them to fly aloft indefinitely. However, gamers must keep in mind that if they leave the group, the extra boost will be lost.

In Genshin Impact's Enkanomiya, players may need to spend some time getting to know the new mechanism. However, the addition adds to the new area's appeal, making exploration even more enjoyable.
