Genshin Impact: Fluorescent Fungus Locations

Fluorescent Fungus is one of Genshin Impact's Local Specialties. The glowing mushroom can only be found on Tsurumi Island, and it's one of the island's few things. In addition, this fungus is the only mushroom species in the area. As a result, Abe, a mushroom fanatic, requests that the Traveler deliver them this fungus.

The fog will envelop Tsurumi island when players initially arrive in Genshin Impact 2.2. To clear the fog, travelers must complete a sequence of objectives. While traversing the island with the fog intact isn't hard, clearing the air will make their search for this uncommon specimen much easier.

How To Unlock Tsurumi Island In Genshin Impact

Of course, in order to gain access to Tsurumi Island, players must first travel to Inazuma's Electro Region. To unlock Inazuma, players must reach Adventure Rank 30 and complete Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and Eternal Euthymia of the Archon Quest. Then, on Seirai Island, complete the Seirai Stormchasers Quest. Travelers will receive a purple feather at the conclusion of this task. This item will be critical in their Tsurumi quest.

Then, start the Through the Mist quest series. Players will be instantly teleported to Tsurumi Island if they do so. This World Quest will take a few days to complete in real life. The fog will be gone for good after the tasks are completed, and players can finally spend their time exploring the region.

Where To Find Fluorescent Fungus In Genshin Impact

Fluorescent Fungus can be found on Tsurumi Island in abundance. It grows under tree trunks and is easily noticed since it develops in groups.

North Of Tsurumi Island

Fluorescent Fungus can be found at the following sites north of Tsurumi Island:

• Underground Ruins of Shirikoro Peak
• Oina Beach
• Chirai Shrine

If the mushrooms are picked from this location under Shirikoro Peak, Abe will become enraged. Travelers should scribble this location on their maps because the ghost that lives there will someday reward them with Primogems.

South Of Tsurumi Island

Meanwhile, near the Teleport Waypoint in the southern portion of Tsurumi, players can find a lot of Fluorescent Fungus. In addition, travelers may need to go to Mt. Kanna to find more of these mushrooms.

Fluorescent Fungus is currently required exclusively by Thoma to ascend. The Housekeeper of the Kamisato Clan may be a solid shielder for most major DPS characters. To fully improve Thoma, players will need 168 Fluorescent Fungus in total. Here's how each ascension is broken down:
