Katy Perry Reveals Full Set List For Her PLAY Las Vegas Residency
Katy Perry teased her fans the night before the first show by disclosing her whole setlist in a short video for her Instagram fans, in which she demonstrated her perfect handwriting while sharing each song she will perform during her set. The 37-year-old performer appears to be gearing up for her PLAY engagement in Las Vegas.
Katy Perry captioned her post, “TOMORROW you can officially come to PERRY PLAYLAND Where you can come and sing along to so many of your favorite songs! #PLAY.” California Gurls, I Kissed A Girl, Teenage Dream, Roar, and Firework are just a few of the songs she'll be performing at Resorts World in Vegas. Fans and friends expressed their enthusiasm in the comments area as soon as she posted the teaser.
"Holy s**t," Amy Schumer said, adding three fire emojis, as though she was ready for the concert. "Literally hit after hit after hit," singer Rita Ora wrote. On social media, the mother-of-one has been uploading footage of props and costumes to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the show's preparations.
In a short video posted to Instagram last week, she revealed one of her numerous stage props, a giant, animated toilet. "Only 8 more days until you can visit PERRY PLAYLAND," Perry captioned, adding that attendees will be "flushed with bliss!" The massive toilet prop was painted in a dazzling orange and featured two toilet paper rolls as eyes. To imitate a mouth, the lid slid up and down.
However, according to an earlier story from Electronic Vegas, the Witness singer will purportedly 'perform two nights a week for four months during the $168 million contract.' There are presently 16 shows booked through March 19 of the following year. Perry recently discussed how she's been physically preparing for her grueling residency workload.
