Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl update 1.1.2

The patch was first announced on Wednesday, December 2, and was quickly rolled out to all versions of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

While Nintendo's official comments are sparse, Dexerto has confirmed that the 1.1.2 update has fixed the popular Diamond & Pearl duplication bug that gamers have been excitedly exploiting in recent days.

Because of the flaw, trainers have been able to replicate batches of Pokemon — and thus rare items. Trainers were swiftly filling up their Master Balls and Rare Candies as this could be done in bunches of up to 32'mons.

Nintendo has recently taken steps to eliminate that specific copy-paste flaw. However, that isn't the only modification brought to the game by the current update for Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. Nintendo has also patched the infamous stuck-glitch, which prevented players from progressing since they were "unable to progress the game given the circumstances."

To keep your Pokemon games up to date, hit + on the app and look for a Software Update. Pause the update if you want to keep duplicating!
