Pokemon Go January 2022 Spotlight Hour schedule
The Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour schedule for January 2022 has been announced by Niantic. There's a lot to look forward to with Solosis, Plusle, and Minun all making cameos. The Spotlight Hour is a weekly event hosted by Niantic in Pokemon Go. Each week, a different Pokemon will be featured, with significantly increased spawn rates and a unique double bonus. Trainers will have one hour to catch as many of that species as they can, providing the ideal opportunity to complete their Pokedex and earn enough Candy to develop and power up that Pokemon.
On January 16, in addition to these Spotlight Hours, a Community Day featuring Spheal will be held. All of these events are intended to provide opportunities for Trainers to capture, evolve, and battle with other members of the community.
What is the date and time of the next Pokemon Spotlight Hour? Date, time, and a monetary bonus
The next Spotlight Hour, according to Niantic, will be Solosis, and it will premiere on January 4, 2022. For a limited time, between 6PM and 7PM local time, the Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild.
This means you'll be able to participate and watch it no matter where you are in the world. In addition, as part of the event benefits, players will be able to obtain Double Transfer Candy.
Is there a Shiny Solosis in Pokemon Go?
The bad news is that Shiny Solosis, as well as its evolutions Shiny Duosion and Shiny Reuniclus, are presently unavailable in Pokemon Go.

How to prepare for Solosis Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go
Because the Spotlight Hours are only 60 minutes long, there are a few things you can do ahead of time to ensure you don't waste any time:
- Make sure you have enough Poke Balls to catch all of the Pokemon in the Spotlight Hour.
- Check to see whether you have enough Berries to receive double Candy or to make catching simpler.
- Make a place in your Pokemon Storage Box for all of them you'll catch.
- For the event, save up your Pokecoins and buy at least two Incense sticks.
Along with these techniques, Spotlight Hours are a great time to use any extra goods you have, such as Lucky Eggs or Star Pieces, to boost your XP during the event.
Spotlight Hour Spawn Rate & Shiny Rate
During these events, the spawn rate of each Spotlight Hour Pokemon is increased for 60 minutes, ensuring that you'll have lots of chances to catch each species. As a result, the spawn rate of each Shiny variety (if available) is increased as well. Many trainers use Spotlight Hours to complete their Shiny collection, and here is your chance to do the same!
This will come in handy now that Niantic has added additional Pokedex classifications to display your Shiny, Lucky, Event, and other Pokemon varieties.
