Kay Flock, a rapper, has been arrested for allegedly murdering a guy in the early third week of December. According to DJ Akademiks' official Twitter account, the rapper was accused of murdering the man outside a barbershop. Kay Flock is said to have had a falling out with a 24-year-old male who has yet to be recognized. Flock allegedly murdered the victim on December 16, according to unsubstantiated sources. 

A homicide was also mentioned on the official NYPD Twitter feed, which shared a hazy screenshot of what appears to be CCTV footage. On December 24, cops allegedly arrested the rapper. The rapper was wanted for homicide, according to DJ Akademiks. The man was allegedly shot and killed by Kay Flock on Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan. In the case of rappers being jailed for their claimed crimes, Silento made headlines after being charged with four felonies after being detained in February for allegedly murdering his cousin.  

Top5 was wanted for first-degree murder and three charges of failing to obey bail conditions. Top5 was one of two males detained and charged with the death of Hashim Omar Hashi, a 20-year-old man, on January 31. SpotemGottem, a teen rapper, was also wanted in connection with the death of Reginald Agnew Jr. In the year 2020, the latter was gunned down during a party in a local venue. In June 2021, DaBaby's entourage member Wisdom Awute was arrested for attempted murder.

Who is Kay Flock?

Kay Flock, whose real name is Kay Roy, is an 18-year-old rapper. On YouTube, the teenage rapper has over 200K subscribers, yet his Instagram account appears to be inactive. Kay Flock, in addition to releasing solo music, is a member of the Thraxxx rap group. His first Internet hit was a song named 'FTO,' which was published in May 2020.

In early 2020, Flock was said to be in juvenile detention. He is well-known for his Bronx-based drill music. Flock rose to prominence thanks to his contribution to 22Gz's 'Blixky Gang Freestyle' instrumental. He then released songs like 'Opp Spotter,' 'Brotherly Love,' 'PSA,' 'Being Honest,' and 'Is Ya Ready,' among others, alongside his childhood pal B-Lovee. 

In November 2021, Flock released his debut album, 'The D.O.A. Tape,' on which he collaborated with G Herbo on the remix of 'Being Honest.' He was also featured on Lil Tjay's track, 'Not In The Mood,' which peaked at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100, his first appearance on the list.

Why did Kay Flock get arrested?

The cops said that Kay Flock came into a barbershop and spotted a man with whom he had issues, according to DJ Akademiks' Twitter. They got into a fight, according to reports. They both exited the shop, where Flock lost his temper and pulled a revolver on them. He allegedly shot the man in the neck and back, according to reports.  

At the time of the shooting, he was said to be wearing a mask. Before he was finally apprehended, the NYPD's official Twitter account posted a "WANTED" banner for the rapper, citing him as a culprit in the probable cause of arrest.
