Fortnite: How to redeem a V-Bucks gift card

You may have received a Fortnite V-Buck gift card for a birthday or holiday, but you must first activate the card before using the credits. V-Bucks, Fortnite's money, will be transferred to your player account after the card is active, and you may use them to purchase in-game stuff like costumes. If you're not sure where to begin, we've put up a step-by-step guide to help you redeem your gift card.

Go to the Fortnite website

The first thing you should do is visit Fortnite's official website. Log in to your account using the sign-in icon in the upper right corner once you've arrived. Select your favorite platform - Xbox, PlayStation, PC, or Nintendo Switch — and you'll be taken to the next page immediately.

Select V-Bucks Card by hovering your mouse over your account in the upper right corner. A huge picture of a yellow gift card will display on a new page. To continue, click Get Started.

The PIN code found on the back of your V-Bucks Card is required for the next prompt. Once you've scratched off the security covering, you'll find it. Click next once you've completed entering the code. The gift card on the screen should turn green if the code is accurate.

The final page should appear when you select the platform for which you want to redeem your V-Bucks. Select confirm if everything seems correct, and the V-Bucks should be in your account.
