Halo Infinite: How to beat Bassus

In Halo Infinite, after completing the task Excavation Site and destroying certain cooling pylons for a mining laser, you will encounter a new boss named Bassus. He's the only thing standing between you from finishing the story by destroying the mining laser. Here's how you can defeat him.

You don't want to come too near to Bassus at any stage throughout this battle. Because he wields a Gravity Hammer, you should always try to put some distance between yourself and him. If you have a plasma weapon, fire it at him to disable his shields. They take a long time to recharge, so make sure you give them a shot or two now and then to keep them from recharging.

A room with a few Fusion Coils on the ground is behind you, from where you begin the battle. Pick them up (or grapple shot them to you) and toss them at him when he is slowly walking over to you to take a chunk of his health away. They may also temporarily stun him, so use this opportunity to flee if he is close.

There will be a larger one where you got the Fusion Coils that can only be shot. Bring him over to it and fire it when he gets close enough to take away more health. In the chamber where you begin the fight, to the left of the control panel, there is an additional large Fusion Coil. A plasma weapon ammo replenishment and certain weapons may be found to the right. After blasting all those Fusion Coils on him, he should be in very bad shape. You'll finish the mission if you chip away at what's left.
