Nintendo Switch: Astroneer release date

Astroneer will be released on the Nintendo Switch in a few months, according to System Era Softworks. The sandbox adventure game was announced in August, and now we know it will come with a brand-new update and be accessible in both hard and digital versions.

Digital pre-orders are currently available if you want to earn pre-order benefits. Pre-orders are available through the Nintendo online store and the E-shop. On January 13, 2022, the digital version of Astroneer will be released. Physical pre-orders are not now available but will be at a later date. Physical editions for North America and Europe, according to System Era Softworks, should be available in mid-February.

The new Xenobiology upgrade, which includes new objectives and unique animals, will be included in Astroneer. Pro controllers will be supported, as well as local Switch to Switch play.

A new release date trailer was released along with the announcement of the release date. It demonstrates the various landscapes and biomes available in Astroneer. The devs have even teased what to expect in the January update, stating that it would include narrative aspects that will explore the greater Astroneer universe.
