Final Fantasy XIV: How to get the Cape of Happiness
In Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, the Warriors of Light have continued their unrelenting war against another end of the world, and Square Enix has released a new item that may be made in Patch 6.05. A few things should be recognized before going on the road to creating your own Cape of Happiness.
To begin, the Cape of Happiness necessitates a level 90 Weaver, implying that players desiring this item must also possess Endwalker. To make the Cape of Happiness, players will need to collect four different ingredients:
- Wind Cluster (x3)
- Lightening Cluster (x3)
- AR-Caean Velvet (x3)
- Cloth of Happiness
The velvet will require numerous AR-Caean cotton balls, and the two clusters can be harvested as usual. The Cloth of Happiness, on the other hand, comes from another patch 6.05 addition: the new treasure dungeon Excitatron 6000. Expect to spend some time searching the treasure dungeon for the coffers containing the Cloth of Happiness, and keep in mind that a max-level leatherworker can use the cloth for different purposes.
Once all of the materials have been obtained, the recipe must be unlocked. The recipe may be purchased by amassing 1,200 White Crafter Scrips and visiting any ordinary Scrip Exchange merchant in Hydaelyn.
While the Cape of Happiness is a beautiful glam-centric item, it does eliminate the characters' tails. The cape currently sells for somewhat more than 800,000 gil on Goblin shard, making it a viable (though time-consuming) method of grinding Gil via the market.
