Fortnite Chapter 3: How to interact with a Drill Scanner in Season 1

Players can participate in new seasonal quests in Week 7 of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1. Interacting with a Drill Scanner is one of them. These can only be found at IO drill sites, where they can be found in the tents near the drills.

There is currently only one IO drill location east of Logjam Lumberyard, in a tiny valley near the POI. Two IO guards with Rare SMGs, an IO crate, and the driller itself, which is now just sitting on the ground doing nothing, are present. After you've taken out the Guards, go to the tiny room beside the drill, where you'll find a scanner. When you interact with it, it will scan the environment around you, marking chests and opponent locations.

Players should recall that the island flipped over at the end of Chapter 2, unveiling a whole new island and trapping much of the Imaginary Order's forces on the other side. They've been busy drilling their way through to this location, no doubt using Slone's machinery.

Chapter 3 Season 1 Week 7 quests and challenges

• Rocky Ridge, Rocky Reels, or Rocky Residence (0/100) are all good places to get stones.
• IO Force adversaries must be eliminated (0/3)
• When you're within 10 meters of a Klombo, throw a Klomberry (0/1).
• With a Grenade Launcher (0/140), you can inflict damage on your opponents.
• (0/1) Interact with a Drill Scanner
• For 15 seconds, ride in a tornado while in a vehicle.
• At Covert Canyon or the Sanctuary (0/3) collect several sorts of weaponry.
• With a Sniper Rifle (0/500), you can inflict damage on your opponents.
• Fill up a car with gas (0/50).
