Genshin Impact 2.4 update: The Moon Bathed Deep guide with all quest locations

Fans of Genshin Impact may be eager to explore Enkanomiya's depths during the 2.4 updates, but there may be a major task to fulfill beforehand. The Moon Bathed Deep is a multi-stage quest that must be completed in order to access Enkanomiya's watery world. This voyage can begin on Watatsumi Island, and players should be prepared to embark on it. By finishing this quest, fans will obtain access to the new area in update 2.4, as well as some decent gifts.

Genshin Impact: How to complete The Moon Bathed Deep

The Moon Bathed Deep is a mission that takes players all over Watatsumi Island to fulfill duties for Tsuyuko, a Shrine Maiden. On Watatsumi Island, she may be located beside the Statue of the Seven near Mouun Shrine.

Tsuyuko will be standing in front of the water, with a mission icon hovering over her head. After speaking with her, she will tell the players about the task and send them off on their adventures.

Fang of Watatsumi Quest Guide

While players can complete Tsuyuko's four tasks in whatever order they wish, the Fang of Watatsumi is one of the most straightforward. The last thing left for the players to do is travel to the quest's location and read the tablet near the locked shrine.

A monolith will spawn as a result of reading this tablet, which players must defend by defeating multiple waves of monsters. These opponents aren't particularly difficult, so as long as your team is ready for battle, you shouldn't have too much trouble. Players will be able to interact with the unlocked shrine and obtain their first Spirit Pearl after fending off the monsters.

Eye of Watatsumi Quest Guide

The next mission is the Eye of Watatsumi, which requires players to go west to Mouun Shrine. Instead of fighting adversaries, they must locate three Electro orbs dispersed throughout the island for this task.

Elemental Sight can be used to detect these, and players can obtain the Spirit Pearl by finding all of them and distributing them with Anemo. The orbs can be discovered on the island's north, south, and west sides, with hints provided by the tablet.

Each orb can be found close here:
  • To the north of the shrine, there is a broken boat.
  • To the west of the shrine, on a cliff
  • To the south of the temple, next to a rock
Players can collect their Spirit Pearl from the shrine and continue on to the next section of the Genshin Impact quest once all of these orbs have been scattered.

Fin of Watatsumi Quest Guide

The Fin of Watatsumi, which can be found to the north of the huge Sangonomiya Shrine, is the next challenge. This island is home to odd fish-shaped monuments that are crucial to the quest's completion.

To unlock the puzzle, players must first read the stone tablet, after which they can proceed to the lower levels to begin solving it. It's as simple as turning the fish statues till the orbs they're carrying face the platform's center. As a result, the waters will flow towards the center, activating and completing the puzzle.

The twist in this riddle occurs when rotating one ring of fish causes the fish on the other ring to rotate. Fortunately, once all of the fish are facing the right way, a Mysterious Pillar can be activated. Their places will be locked.

After completing one puzzle and locking it in, players will be able to move on to the next. This completes the Genshin Impact quest by unlocking the Spirit Pearl at the shrine.

Tail of Watatsumi Quest Guide

The Tail of Watatsumi is the last of Tsuyuko's four tasks, and obtaining this Spirit Pearl isn't too difficult. Fans only need to make use of the Electro Lamps that can be found throughout the shrine on this island.

It will take an Electrogranum to light these, however, there is a Thunder Sakura Bough near the Stone Tablet that can be used instead. After reading the tablet, Genshin Impact players must use the Electrogranum to light these lamps, then defeat the Fatui that arrive to defend the Spirit Pearl. The task will be completed once they have been defeated.

Return to Sangonomiya Shrine

After collecting all of these Spirit Pearls, players can return to Tsuyuko to advance to the next part of the quest. From here, players must travel to a hidden cave on Watatsumi Island, which is located further out.

The Seal of the Heart protects this cave, and it can only be broken with the four Spirit Pearls. Players, fortunately, have already amassed them and can simply get around this restriction.

Players will be confronted with their final conundrum after they approach this cave. This puzzle is similar to those found in the Fin of Watatsumi, and players must rotate the fish figurines until the inner pattern is complete.

After completing each puzzle, Genshin Impact gamers will face several powerful Oceanid Mimics, although defeating them isn't too difficult. After defeating them, players must use the Mysterious Pillar to lock the mechanism in place before proceeding to the next group of statues.

Three of these statue sets will be available at first, with the fourth becoming available after they've completed the first three. To finish this level, players must first activate the Mysterious Pillar before rotating the statues.

Players can ultimately move to the center of the region and collect the Key of the Deep after defeating the adversaries. This key will give you access to Enkanomiya and allow you to download the upcoming Genshin Impact update.

From there, it's just a question of conversing with Tsuyuko and collecting their gifts to complete the mission. For finishing the entire questline, fans will receive roughly 170 Primogems, which is rather valuable.
