Genshin Impact Lantern Rite 2022: How to beat the Oceanic Defender

Part 3 of Genshin Impact's Fleeting Colors in Flight event is now live, and players can test their mettle against a temporary boss within a certain realm. Travelers can take part in the Oceanic Defender challenge, which transports them to a particular place and requires them to defeat Beisht, an event boss. Players will get Conquest Talismans from the event page if they complete the challenge, which can be traded for one Liyue four-star character and Ningguang's new costume in Genshin Impact.

How to complete Oceanic Defender challenge in Genshin Impact

After teleporting to Liyue, the domain south of Guyun Stone Forest, travelers can begin the Oceanic Defender challenge. Because the awards can be taken directly from the event page, no resins will be consumed when players defeat the adversary and quit the domain.

Beihst will arrive with only one of her heads as the contest begins. There are three heads on the boss, each with its own health bar. To complete the challenge, players must defeat all three heads. It's worth noting that a defeated head can still attack the active character, but it won't do any harm.

According to the event page, players must complete the challenge six times in order to receive all Primogems and Conquest Talismans. However, players can earn Mora and Hero's Wit by completing two more challenges.

How to defeat Beisht before she can dive four times

Players must defeat Beisht before she can dive four times underwater in the first mission. The "dive" is a skill in which Beisht takes a break from attacking the active character and dives for a few seconds into the water.

It's important to note that this task only counts the dives made by the head who is still alive. As a result, if any of Beisht's heads that have already been defeated plunge, the player's mission will not be jeopardized. Because the boss has three heads, it is preferable to beat each one as quickly as possible.

Defeat Beisht without being hit by her Jetstream attack

The Jetstream attack is one of five attack skills available to Beisht. When the adversary uses the Jetstream attack, she lowers her head into the platform, pulling in adjacent players before launching a powerful water beam that deals AoE Hydro damage. Players should run away from the head that is charging its Jetstream as soon as possible because they can't be touched by this talent even once to accomplish the job.

It may be tedious to fight the same monster six times in order to obtain the rewards, but players can make it more enjoyable by playing with their friends. After all, even in Co-Op mode, they can finish the challenges.
