Josh Duhamel Is Engaged to Audra Mari, two years after his divorce from singer Fergie

Josh Duhamel is reconsidering his marriage plans, with the help of his ex-wife. The 49-year-old is engaged to his partner of more than two years, model and Miss World America 2016 Audra Mari. On Saturday, Jan. 8, Duhamel's partner's 28th birthday, he broke the news on his Instagram page.

"It's on!! She found a message in a bottle that washed ashore and said YES!! @audramari," the actor wrote, alongside a photo of the two standing together on a beach, with him holding a crumpled paper that reads, "Audra Diane Mari, will you marry me?"

Fergie Duhamel, Duhamel's ex-wife and mother of their 8-year-old son Axl Jack Duhamel, congratulated him and added six green heart emojis. Audra, who was also Miss North Dakota USA 2014, and Josh confirmed their relationship in October 2019 when they were seen kissing in a Toronto airport, putting an end to months of suspicions.  

He and Fergie formalized their divorce a month later. That year, the 46-year-old singer had submitted the paperwork. After eight years of marriage, Fergie and Duhamel confirmed their divorce in September 2017.

Audra Diane Mari, 28, is a model and beauty pageant winner from the United States. In 2016, she has crowned Miss World America and went on to represent the United States at Miss World. She also competed in the Miss Teen USA and Miss USA pageants, representing North Dakota. She finished second in each of the competitions.

Mari was born in Fargo, North Dakota, on January 8, 1994, to a Filipino family. Mari traveled to Miami at the age of 20 to pursue her dream of becoming a model. Following his breakup from now-ex-wife Fergie, she began dating actor Josh Duhamel in late 2019.
