Monster Hunter Rise: How To Play Ghosts 'N Goblins collaboration and unlock the Arthur Layered Armor

Monster Hunter Rise is now available on PC, almost a year after it first debuted on Nintendo Switch. It's an excellent port of one of 2021's best games, with 4K support, high-resolution visuals, and enhanced performance. The PC edition also includes all of the previously announced post-launch content, including a Ghosts 'n Goblins crossover in which you assume the armor of protagonist Arthur.

The Ghosts 'n Goblins partnership introduces a new Event Quest that rewards you with the resources needed to build the Arthur Layered Armor. Here's how to get started on the one-of-a-kind adventure and make the Silver Knight's legendary armor.

First and foremost, go to the Steelworks sector of the village center and speak with Senri the Mailman. To add the "Knight in Shattered Armor" Event Quest to your quest board, go to "Add-on Content" and choose it from the list. If you haven't already, you can choose "Collect All" to get all of the DLC that's currently available.

You should next proceed to the Gathering Hub and chat with Minoto the Quest Maiden. The Knight in Shattered Armor quest can be found in the "High Rank" part of the "Event Quests" section. This is a 6* High-Rank quest that requires Hunter Rank 4 or higher to access.

The mission will take you to the Lava Caverns, where you must kill three monsters: Basarios, Rathalos, and Volvidon. Because all three monsters are weak to water, having a weapon that deals with water element damage are useful. You can also make the quest a Join Request Hunt so that other players can join and assist you in taking down all three within the time limit of 50 minutes.

After completing the task, you'll receive Broken Knight Armor, a crafting material needed to create the Arthur Layered Armor set. You'll need four in total, so you'll probably have to do the Event Quest a few times to get enough. You'll also need eight points of Basarios+ resources, which you may earn by beating the monster twice if you don't already have enough.

Once you've gathered all of the necessary materials, walk over to the Smithy to finish the Arthur Layered Armor set. This gear changes the kunai into Arthur's Lance and provides you unique leap and task completion animations, in addition to making you look like the Ghosts 'n Goblins protagonist.
