Pokémon Go: How to evolve Helioptile into Heliolisk

It will take a lot of time and patience to complete your Pokémon Go collection. It will take a lot of searching and sometimes just plain walking to collect the requisite amount of Pokémon candy and other goodies. Here's how to evolve Helioptile into Heliolisk in Pokémon Go, thanks to the arrival of Helioptile during the Power Plant event.

You'll need a Sun Stone to evolve a Helioptile into Heliolisk, same as in the main games, but you'll also require 50 Helioptile Candy. You can get three candies by catching a Helioptile and an extra one by transferring them, just as with other Pokémon. You can utilize Pinap Berries to increase the number of candies you get from a catch, and if you make a Helioptile your companion, they will find sweets as you wander with them.

Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee to get a Sun Stone, although walking about and spinning Pokéstops is the best strategy. You have very little chance of earning one of the evolution items if you do this, so don't expect any on your first try.  

Furthermore, if you spin Pokéstops for seven days in a row, you will have a very good chance of getting an evolution item on the seventh day's initial spin. You can get one by completing seven days of Field Research.
