None of them have been as well regarded as Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetales, who switched from being fire-types to being ice foxes. That is why they keep bringing the alternate form back, with Pokémon Legends: Arceus being the most recent example. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, here's how you evolve Alolan Vulpix into Alolan Ninetales.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you must offer an Ice Stone to Alolan Vulpix in order for them to evolve into Alolan Ninetales. It makes no difference what level they are; if you give them that item, they will evolve right away.

Ice Stones aren't as scarce as they once were in Pokémon games, but they can still be difficult to come by. The best method to get one is to buy it for 1,000 Merit Points from the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. Gathering Lost Satchels from other trainers earns you Merit Points.

In addition, if you're in the Alabaster Icelands, you can use your Pokémon to smash apart gem clusters strewn over the area, giving you a chance to find an Ice Stone. If it doesn't work, follow Ursaluna around the region and look for dig spots that could lead to an Ice Stone.
