Pokemon Legends Arceus: The Mysterious Will-o’-the-Wisp request guide

Out in the woods, Paira has noticed something unusual. Between Windswept Run and Nature's Pantry, she thinks she sees a will-o-wisp among the trees. It's time to look into this weird occurrence. In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, this is how you accomplish the Mysterious Will-O'-the-Wisp request.

Paira may be found in Jubilife Village, across from the pasture. You won't be able to accept this request until you've calmed Kleavor later in the game. Paira will tell you about her will-o-wisp sighting if you ask her. To make things a little easier, head out of town and choose the Heights Camp as your destination.

Head south down the mountain from the Heights Camp to the location marked on your map. You'll eventually come to a huge tree. When you interact with the tree, you'll witness a Chimchar hanging from the top of the tree in a cinematic. The Chimchar will attack by jumping down. Defeat the Chimchar but don't kill it. Paira wants you to take a photo of it (plus, this might be your first Chimchar encounter).

Return to Jubilife Village and speak with Paira after capturing the Chimchar. She will reward you with two little experience candies once she realizes it was a pokémon that caused her weird sighting.
