Pokemon Legends Arceus: Where to Catch Darkrai

While Darkrai was not catchable in the Diamond and Pearl remakes released last year, the legendary Pokemon can be found in Pokemon Legends Arceus (PLA). The existence of the nightmare Pokemon in a game set before the Sinnoh region even existed is a bit of a surprise! Where to catch Darkrai in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Darkrai can be caught after the game has ended. This one, like many legendary and mythical Pokemon in mainline games, is only seen once you've completed the game. On your Nintendo Switch device, you'll also need stored data from Pokemon Shining Pearl or Brilliant Diamond. In the Gen 4 remakes, this section works similarly to gaining Jirachi and Mew.

Go to Professor Laventon's blackboard once you've reached the end of Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The Darksome Nightmare should be the name of a quest. In your Missions and Requests tab, it's named Request 93. You'll have to learn more about the "terrifying Pokemon" Cael of the Pearl Clan witnessed and locate it for surveying from him.

At night, the legendary Pokemon is rumored to arrive at the Clamberclaw Cliffs. If you go to that spot during the day when it isn't night, you will receive a notice stating that there is no indication of it. You should simply sleep and set your wake-up time to "until nightfall."

You should be able to trigger a cutscene if you arrive at the specified location at the appropriate time of day. Darkrai will emerge from the shadows to attack you. Be cautious and quick when moving, as it has a tendency to teleport all over the place. Prepare for a tough Pokemon encounter when the next combat phase is triggered.

This legendary Pokemon will have a level of 70. It is vulnerable to fighting, insect, and Fairy-type attacks because it is a dark-type. But be careful not to pull it down. The task will be completed if Darkrai is apprehended, and no one else will "fall victim to such dark nightmares...", according to Cael.
