Caleb Hunter of New York City has gone viral on TikTok, with multiple women sharing their encounters with the so-called "serial dater." TikTok is a hive for viral content of all kinds. The video app has taken the online world by storm, spawning popular challenges, dances, and even pasta recipes. TikTok has the ability to make someone go viral on occasion (as was the case of one TikToker whose social media presence effectively skyrocketed after getting rejected from Juilliard).

In this case, though, a 25-year-old man named Caleb Hunter is sweeping TikTok after many New York City women discovered they'd all dated the same person.

These ladies claim to have met Hunter through the dating app Hinge. He allegedly ghosted them after one or two dates with him, during which he supposedly played up his employment as a furniture designer at West Elm.

As more ladies come out of the woodwork sharing their own strange experiences with the now-infamous West Elm Caleb, it's been termed a real-life version of John Tucker Must Die by producer Zach Schwartz.

Kell claimed she'd been dating Caleb for three weeks before discovering he was supposedly "dating every other lady in NYC" and making many similar Spotify playlists to give to other people. Kate claimed she'd matched with Caleb on Tinder when he started "love-bombing" her. They agreed to meet for coffee, but he allegedly ghosted her before they could meet.

Her video went viral, prompting numerous other women to inquire if she was referring to the same Caleb with whom they'd previously gone on dates. As it turns out, a plethora of women have dated West Elm Caleb and have had similar ghosting experiences.

What is Caleb's reaction to the news? Kells updated viewers on the situation by posting text messages with the viral West Elm designer, who claimed he was aware of his TikTok fame and that the problem was "bumming him out."

Hunter is "shocked and quite disturbed by this whole situation," according to the alleged text exchanges, and says of his ghosting habits, "The nature of the app is really transitory and ghosting sadly is just part of it."
