Runic Chests, also known as Nornir Chests, are crucial to open in God of War if players hope to make it through the game's harsh worlds. Finding and opening these boxes will grant players far more benefits than ordinary treasures or gold.

What puzzles are connected to the Runic Chests in God of War?

The series of runes on the face of a Nornir Chest is the most noticeable feature when players first discover one in God of War. Three runes are emblazoned on the front of each chest and are the focal point of this puzzle. The three blue, lighting runes indicate the presence of three other bells or relics nearby that are likewise marked by the same symbols.

When a rune is struck, the matching rune will fade, signaling that the challenge has begun. In other circumstances, players must hit each of the three runes before the countdown expires, and this will be audible when the first rune is hit. Because discovering the runes is the most difficult component of the game, players should start by finding each one.

They're usually tucked away in places that are difficult to notice and where players wouldn't think to search initially. But they're all close to the Runic Chest in some way. Players begin the task once each one has been located.

How to hit all the runes fast enough in God of War

The Leviathan Axe is the quickest technique to hit all of the runes for the Runic Chest puzzle. After finding each of the bells or relics with runes, the best bet is to pick a good spot in the middle of all three. Players can then throw the axe in order of distance to finish the problem.

After completing the puzzle and checking off all of the runes, players can return to the chest and open the lid. Upgrades to Kratos' maximum health and anger will be given to him.
