In Pokémon Go, you can catch dozens of different Pokémon. You can locate them while exploring your local communities or traveling to different parts of the world. A Pokémon can occur in almost any location, and there's always the possibility of finding a shiny variant. Minun is one of the many Pokémon available in the game for mobile devices. Is it possible to catch a gleaming Minun in Pokémon Go?

The chances of catching a shiny Pokémon are practically stacked against you. The easiest method to beat these odds is to try to catch as many Pokémon as you can in the hopes of catching a shiny to add to your collection. While catching a shining Minun in the wild is possible, the chances of doing so are slim. The greatest strategy to improve your chances is to try to find the same Pokémon in the wild on a regular basis.

Minun is hosting a Spotlight Hour on January 25 from 6 to 7 p.m. in your local time zone. Because Minun will be around a lot more during that hour, there's a chance you'll locate one that's shining.  

The event, on the other hand, has no effect on your odds of discovering a shiny Pokémon. Instead, it simply increases your odds of encountering Minun, increasing your chances of finding a bright one. The increased interactions last only an hour. You'll be exhausted after an event like this.
