Savathun's Throne World, a completely new location with a combination of sophisticated architecture and rugged bayou, will be released alongside Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. A brand new Public Event activity has appeared in Destiny 2 to test guardians in the open world, like with each new destination. The Ferry the Resonant Splinter Public Event is unlike any other since you'll be continuously on the move while fighting swarms of Scorn foes.

How to complete the event

This Public Event should appeal to fans of popular FPS games such as Overwatch and Team Fortress 2. By standing and fighting in close vicinity to the darkness splinter, you'll be able to guide it to its objective. This may appear to be a simple task, but Scorn foes will constantly spawn in an attempt to prevent you from escorting the splinter. Make sure you don't go too far from the splinters range, as this will waste the time you have to shepherd it.

It will halt twice while escorting the splinter and launch a big orange bubble near it. There are three pyramid spikes within this bubble that you must swiftly destroy in order for the splinter to proceed. These bubbles also contain a slew of powerful Scorn, so be prepared to use your super and power ammo to clean them out.

How to make the event heroic

The splinter will drop two resonant charges when it comes to a halt and deploys its bubble. While you might think you're supposed to put these into anything, they're actually meant to be tossed towards the yellow sphere in the center of the splinter.

To make the event heroic, you'll need to throw four resonant charges at the sphere. At the end of the splinters route, you'll face two more bosses if you make it heroic. You'll finish the event once you've killed them and finished escorting the splinter.
