While everyone seems to be talking about new weapons and exotics in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, the attention has also been turned on Le Monarque, as its exotic catalyst has been brought into the game. The silent long-range poisoning powers of Le Monarque, which can decimate large groups of adversaries and unwary Guardians in the Crucible, are about to get much stronger.

How to get the Le Monarque Catalyst

Completing playlist activities such as Crucible matches, Gambit rounds, and strikes of any kind is the only way to obtain the Le Monarque catalyst. While this may appear to be a simple task, there are a few more unique catalysts to be found in the playlist activities.

If you already have all of the previous exotic catalysts, though, getting your hands on the Le Monarque catalyst should only take a few games. Remember that in order to receive the Le Monarque exotic bow's catalyst, you must first unlock it.

Once you've gotten the Le Monarque catalyst, you'll need to power it up before you can use its perks to their full potential. This can be accomplished by defeating 700 foes using a unique weapon. This can be done almost everywhere in Destiny 2, but the most efficient way is to do it during strike actions or public events. Le Monarque will have access to the Unrelenting perk after unlocking it, which causes health regeneration after quickly beating enemies.
