Destiny 2 The Witch Queen: How to navigate the maze in The Ghosts

The Witch Queen's second quest continues to bring new concepts to players, though not with as much fanfare as they might expect. Guardians may become lost in this quest at various points due to the mission's introduction of new mechanics, as they face a dark pit with apparently no way out.

Guardians will push their way into a cavern after starting this task, eliminating adversaries as they go. However, the apparent path forward will soon become too dim to perceive. At this point, Guardians must hunt out fleshy ampules hung on the walls and ceiling, which, when popped with gunfire, emit a light that can be used to guide them onward.

The environment becomes dangerous, with deadly falls awaiting players fumbling around in the dark. Guardians should take care not to move forward without puncturing the ampules. This is a trend that will repeat itself throughout the dungeon, with players needing to illuminate the area (most notably during gunfights) in order to move around fast and effectively.

If you're stuck, look for the ampules to lead you to the next goal. If you see a cluster off in the distance, it's likely you'll need to go there to progress in The Ghosts.
